Adept IC86 Drop Speaker From Zankap – Adept’s IC86 features an 8-inch injection-moulded graphite woofer that’s is able to deliver deep bass, as well as a clear mid-range and strong voice reproduction for audio and automation applications.
This compact drop speaker is supported by a pivoting, 1-inch aluminium dome tweeter, which is tough enough to keep up with the woofer, yet agile enough to deliver the crystalline, realistic highs that demanding end users expect.
According to Zankap, the IC86 is easy to install. With Adept’s tool-less trim ring mounting system, installation takes just seconds and requires no tools — all you do is push the ring into the hole, squeeze down on the 4 mounts with your fingers, then twist the speaker into the ring.
Power handling is 175 Watts, frequency range is 38Hz-20kHz, sensitivity is 92dB SPL, 1W at 1 metre with an impedance of 6 ohms. Cutout diameter is 222mm, grille diameter is 254mm, mounting depth is 114mm and there’s a limited lifetime warranty.
