ADT Security Australia Has Acquired Western Advance West Coast, Significantly Expanding Its High Security Integration Business.

ADT Security Australia Has acquired Western Advance West Coast – ADT Security Australia has acquired Western Advance West Coast, strengthening its presence in Western Australia and expanding its capability in high-security sectors.

Western Advance brings more than 25 years’ experience delivering electronic security and communications solutions across oil and gas, aviation, defence, and law enforcement. The company’s operations span CCTV, access control, perimeter detection, and emergency systems, with a focus on critical infrastructure and high-risk environments.

The acquisition supports ADT Security Australia’s national expansion strategy and aligns with the growth trajectory of its parent company, Intelligent Monitoring Group (IMG), a fast-growing business which includes Signature Security Group.

We welcome the excellent and long-established team at Western Advance to the IMG family,” said IMG managing director, Dennison Hambling.

It’s been great to catch up with our strong and growing Perth-based teams. IMG is lucky to have great people, doing great work in WA, and IMG is proud of its WA heritage and history.

IMG currently supports 70,000 monitored lines and reports it is the largest independent A1-grade monitoring provider in Australia. In H1 2025, IMG’s revenue rose 43 per cent year-on-year, with EBITDA up 23 per cent and adjusted cashflow increasing 44 per cent.

The company continues to expand both organically and through acquisition, with a current staff base of more than 600 across Australia and New Zealand.

From SEN’s point of view as an industry observer, IMG’s continued expansion of the ADT security integration business is noteworthy.
