AG Security Group celebrates 35 Years – Adelaide-based security integrator, AG Security Group, has marked its 35th anniversary with a milestone celebration event at the Adelaide Oval, bringing together team members and their partners alongside valued clients, suppliers and channel partners, to recognise more than 3 decades of growth in the Australian security industry.
The event was both a celebration and a reflection of the relationships that have supported the company’s journey since it was founded in 1991 by nanaging director, Michael O’Connell. Guests enjoyed an evening of great food, wine and entertainment, with strong attendance from across the organisation’s local and national networks, plus industry partnerships.
Reflecting on the milestone, O’Connell said that the anniversary was an opportunity to recognise the people and partnerships behind the company’s success.
“This milestone is really about the people who have been part of our journey over the past 35 years – especially our team, our clients and our partners,” he said. “We’ve built the business together based on long-term relationships, trust and a commitment to delivering for our clients and that continues to guide us as we look to the future.”
While based in South Australia, AG Security Group has grown into one of Australia’s leading and largest private locally-owned security organisations, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra supporting clients nationwide.
The company supports a range of high-profile clients, particularly within critical infrastructure, as well as state government and commercial sectors. The anniversary celebration event also recognised the importance of long-standing security industry partnerships. Gallagher Security, a valued and key solutions partner, presented AG Security Group with a 25-year channel partner recognition award, while Security Monitoring Centres (SMC) Australia acknowledged a 30-year partnership with its own recognition award.
