Hub BP Jeweller is a battery-powered wireless control panel designed for off-grid and remote security applications. The unit targets use cases such as vacant properties, construction sites, solar power installations, and remote cabins where permanent power is unavailable or unreliable. Operating entirely on internal or external batteries, the hub delivers a high degree of autonomy and retains key system features such as alarm photo verification, dual SIM cellular connectivity, and secure device communication over long distances.
Hub BP Jeweller supports up to 100 wireless Ajax devices and operates with a communication range of up to 2000 metres. It includes built-in support for both Jeweller and Wing’s proprietary radio protocols, ensuring wide system compatibility and stable performance.
Installation is straightforward, with configuration handled remotely through Ajax apps. The hub connects via 2 SIM cards using 2G, 3G or LTE networks and does not require Ethernet or Wi-Fi, aligning with its focus on off-grid locations. Up to three external antennas can be added to enhance signal strength in shielded or difficult installation sites. These antennas are monitored by the system, and any disconnection triggers a switch to the internal fallback antenna.
The hub features an advanced battery power saver mode that extends operating life by reducing polling intervals and suspending background tasks such as firmware updates. This functionality is particularly suited to low-traffic environments requiring long-term autonomous protection with minimal maintenance.
Depending on the battery type used, the device can operate autonomously for periods ranging from 2 months to 6 years. Internal battery options include rechargeable LiFePO4 and non-rechargeable LTC cells, while external compatibility includes 12 V DC zinc-air and lead-acid batteries. The battery power saver mode is available for both internal and external configurations.
Hub BP Jeweller comes in 2 versions: a standard enclosed model and a version without casing designed for installation in third-party or modular enclosures. The board-only variant supports higher-capacity batteries and is intended for integration in custom installations such as pods or cabinets.
System functionality includes full support for Ajax intrusion, fire, video, and automation devices. MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor detectors are compatible, enabling visual alarm verification with images delivered in under 10 seconds. The hub can support up to nine independent security groups and 50 users per system, making it suitable for both commercial and residential applications. Data security is maintained through encrypted communications, 2-factor authentication, session control, and tamper detection. Compliance includes Grade 2 and PD 6662:2017 standards.
