Ajax SeismoProtect G3 Fibra – Seismo Protect G3 Fibra detects vibrations from drilling, cutting, crushing, pushing, pulling and explosions using a sensor combination of piezoelectric sensor, accelerometer and digital temperature sensor.
The sensor can be installed on ATMs, terminals, private, bank vaults and other high security or high-risk structures. The device identifies physical force, such as bending or pushing, temperature changes near the enclosure, and reacts to shocks and tilt. An advanced software algorithm analyses all vibrations to filter out false alarms.
SeismoProtect G3 Fibra can be installed at any point of the 2000-metre Fibra U/UTP Cat 5 line behind the hub, detector, keypad, or siren with stored and transmitted data protected by block encryption with dynamic key.
SeismoProtect G3 Fibra comes with a stainless-steel mounting plate, an armoured 4-core signal cable, a self-test device, and an installation kit with all fasteners. The self-test device automatically checks the operational state of the detector once a day. The test can also be run manually at any time through the Ajax app.
The sensor has an operating radius of 4 metres on concrete and 2 metres on steel and tilt sensor activation from 5 to 25 per cent, with sensitivity adjustments made by admins via the Ajax app.
The device checks its sensors’ states with a self-test device and notifies if malfunctions are detected. There are also 2 tamper alarms with notifications on attempts to detach the detector from the surface or to open the front lid of the sensor.
The unit detects temperatures higher than 70C and rapid temperature rises caused by cutting tool attacks, while enclosure drilling is also detected. Communication loss is signalled after 36 seconds and self-testing can be automatic or manual.
Operating voltage is 5-30V powered by the Fibra line with an idle current draw of 0.3mA and a maximum current draw of 12mA. The unit is compact, with dimensions of 88 x 88 x 25mm (with mounting plate), a detector weight of 170g and a mounting plate weight of 224g, and a 1.5 metre armoured cable weight of 130g.
