Alarm Watch Showcases New NX/Wave Integration at Packed Bureau Day – Seek It At SecTech!
Alarm Watch Showcases New NX/Wave Integration – Alarm Watch held its second Bureau Day at Eden Park on 25 March, with around 150 people coming through across the day and the team will be bringing the same powerful new solutions on tour with SecTech NZ in June.
According to AlarmWatch’s Wade Coneybear the event brought together installers, resellers, and suppliers to see the latest in monitoring and video verification. While platforms such as Permaconn, Securey360, Camwamo, AJAX, Actuate, Provision, and Hik-Connect were all on display, the standout announcement was Alarm Watch’s new integration with NX Witness, along with Wisenet Wave and DW Spectrum.
“The custom-built integration allows installers to configure NX Witness to send video clips directly to Alarm Watch operators, with setup taking under 30 seconds,” Coneybear said.
“Once configured, clips are sent instantly to the control room. Clips can be generated from camera analytics or triggered events, and the system integrates with IRFast, making it a strong option for real-world deployments.”
According to Coneybear, a highlight of the launch was the built-in AI filtering.
“What it means is that installers can define, in plain English, what the system should look for, such as identifying a person breaking into a car,” he explains.
“The AI reviews footage before it reaches the operator, helping reduce false alarms and improving response efficiency. When combined with camera analytics, scheduling, and instant alerting to Alarm Watch’s control room, it creates a powerful and practical monitoring solution.
“All clips sent to operators are also available to both the customer and installer through Alarm Watch’s app, ensuring full visibility across the chain. The Alarm Watch team can’t wait to showcase this innovation at SecTech New Zealand shows this year in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch – we’ll see you there!”
Coneybear said Alarm Watch is now offering both in-person and online demos and is currently looking for trial sites – if you’re interested – we know we are – contact Wade@alarmwatch.co.nz to book a demo!
