APAC Needs T1 Security Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the production, continuous improvement (CI) and ongoing maintenance for Melbourne Airport security artifacts
- Support the development and integrity of security standard operating procedures (SOP), including the integration with third party providers on behalf of Melbourne Airport.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Melbourne Airport Transport Security Plan (TSP) and directly associated documentation, before seeking endorsement from the security management team
- Provide information, knowledge, operational and regulatory assistance to the security leadership team to support the quality and integrity of the security operation
- Own the internal incident management system reporting requirements ensuring compliance with directed investigative actions relating to security, safety and complaints management
- Support the security management team with the investigation into the findings of external or internal audits, or any self-identified areas for improvement. To include the compilation and implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
- Support the development, progress, and implementation of key internal assurance programs to assist in delivering effective security outcomes under the guidance of the security leadership team.
APAC Needs T1 Security Manager Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Aviation, Security, or relevant industry experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of aviation security or operations
- Expert knowledge of, and experience in the application of aviation security practices and procedures
- High level understanding of, and the ability to, interpret relevant aviation legislations and regulations
- Previous experience using and/or implementing security systems
- Demonstrated decision making capability to meeting operational imperatives.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to enable identification of issues and the judgement to determine appropriate course of actions.
- Effective communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.
