ASIAL Awards And OSPAs Judging
ASIAL Awards And OSPAs Judging – the ASIAL Awards for Excellence and the OSPAs were judged this week, with strong contenders in all categories making choices tough for the independent panel.
Categories included Electronic Security Installation over $100,000, Gender Diversity, Individual Achievement Protection Services, Integrated Security Solution over $100,000, Product of the Year Access Control, Product of the Year Alarms, Product of the Year Physical Security and Security Equipment Manufacturer & Distributor.
Integrated Solutions over $100,000 is one category that’s always hotly contested and 2022 underscored the quality of solutions being installed in Australia, as well as highlighting the importance of integrated security systems to the successful operations of commercial organisations and government departments.
Solutions competing included Optic Security’s integration at Gold Coast Airport, the Securitas integration at Allianz Stadium, Omnivision’s integration for Tassie Hydro, JCI’s work at Adelaide Airport, the City of Hobart’s smart city project, SEME’s integration for Mineral Resources HQ in WA, and the SCG solution for AFP HQ in Melbourne.
The OSPAs are always harder to judge than products and technology, and across categories including Outstanding Contract Security Manager, Outstanding Female Security Professional, Outstanding Inhouse Security Manager, Outstanding Security Consultant, Outstanding Security Partnership, Outstanding Security Team and Outstanding Training Initiative, judges had their work cut out.
“It was great to have so many strong contenders in all categories across the ASIAL Awards For Excellence and the OSPAs,” said ASIAL’s John Fleming.
“ASIAL Awards, OSPAs and Australian Security Medals will be presented at an Awards Ceremony Dinner in Sydney on October 19 – we look forward to seeing you there!”
