ASSA ABLOY Acquires Door Manufacturer – ASSA ABLOY has acquired U.S. door and door frame manufacturer, Metal Products Inc, highlighting the company’s appetite to aggregate access control manufacturing in local markets, especially for high security applications.
Family-owned Metal Products Inc specialises in custom-made hollow metal doors and frames and is based in Corbin, Kentucky. Founded in 1969 as a small pattern and die shop with a team of 3, the company now employs more than 85 skilled staff, occupies nearly 160,000 square feet of manufacturing space and has supported many of its high-end clients for decades.
