ASSA ABLOY Bringing SmartAir And Aperio To SecTech NZ This June.

ASSA ABLOY Bringing SmartAir And Aperio To SecTech NZ – ASSA ABLOY is showing SmartAir and Aperio at SecTech NZ, platforms the team says deliver enhanced security and seamless access control.

What’s such fun about these solutions in SEN’s opinion, having checked them out during SecTech Oz recently, is the new form factors, which allow installers and integrators to push their customers’ access control systems further than ever before.

ASSA ABLOY says Aperio wireless devices are the easiest way to extend the reach of an access control system, or to replace mechanical locks with intelligent access control. Because they operate wire-free, battery-powered Aperio devices are fast and cost-effective to install and save you money in operating and maintenance costs.

The Aperio product range includes padlocks, battery-powered cylinders, escutcheons, cabinet locks and the award-winning Aperio handle that fits powerful access control functionality into a slimline door handle.

Because Aperio is built using open architecture, seamless integration enables control of any existing hard-wired doors and Aperio battery-powered devices from the same access control interface.

Next comes the SMARTair solution, which is built around 3 main elements; wire-free locking devices secure doors and other openings, phone-based or hard credentials that are issued to users instead of keys and intuitive software that manages everything without hassle.

Users can decide (and monitor) who goes where and when with 4 management levels to match access control needs, because every company is different. A SmartAir-enabled lock to check out at SecTech NZ is the sliding door lock – we’ve never seen a sliding door brought into access control – very cool.
