ASSA Acquires Door Distributor

♦ ASSA Acquires Door Distributor – ASSA ABLOY has acquired U.S. pedestrian door distributor and service company J Newton Enterprises.

The acquisition is part of a building trend in electronic security that sees key manufacturers building out integration and maintenance capabilities.

Based in Florida, J Newton Enterprises was established in 2003 and has more than 60 employees across 6 locations, from which it install, services and repairs automatic doors.

“J Newton Enterprises is a key player in the Florida market, strengthening our existing pedestrian business and our service offering in that region, enabling us to provide an even better customer experience,” said Massimo Grassi, executive vice president of ASSA ABLOY and head of Entrance Systems Division.
