AXIS Q9307-LV Tele-Sitter Camera – Axis has also released the AXIS Q9307-LV Dome Camera for tele-sitting elderly folks or sick teenagers or loved ones while safeguarding privacy in real-time.
The camera – it’s a monitoring system really – has good video quality, 2-way audio, is pre-loaded with coughing fit and stressed voice analytics for active incident management, all the usual Axis cybersecurity functions and lots more.
Its 4 microphones and integrated speaker with echo cancellation allows video streams to be enhance with 2-way audio communication with noise suppression. The camera includes Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR, and OptimizedIR to deliver sharp 5MP image quality under any light conditions.
The camera is built around the ARTPEC-8 SoC supported by a ½.7th of an inch progressive scan CMOS sensor with a motorised 3-8mm lens with an aperture of F1.3. WDR of 120dB and a horizontal field of view with a maximum angle of 104 degrees at the wide end and a hyperfocal length of around 1 metre.
This is a day/night camera with integrated IR and has a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1458 pixels at 30ips, with compression options including H.264, H.265 and Axis’ proven ZipStream compression.
ARTPEC-8 includes a deep learning module and there’s a range of video analytics supported, including AXIS Object Analytics, AXIS Video Motion Detection, AXIS Live Privacy Shield, active tampering alarm, audio detection, coughing fit and stressed voice detection.
Objects analytics classes include humans, vehicles (types: cars, buses, trucks, bikes), scenarios include line crossing, object in area, time in area, crossline counting, and occupancy in area.
There are up to 10 programmable scenarios, triggered objects can be visualized with trajectories, there are colour-coded bounding boxes and tables, and polygon include/exclude areas.
This unit weighs around 1.25kg, is rated IP44 against dust and water and IK08 against impact and is built of aluminium and polycarbonate. It’s powered by PoE and has a maximum draw of 25.5W and a typical draw of 10W.
