Bendigo Seeks Artwork Alarms – City of Greater Bendigo in Victoria is inviting expressions of interest from security providers to protect the artwork of Frida Kahlo at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
The solution is described in council’s release as being a ‘security and artwork alarming’ and it’s likely Bendigo Art Gallery already has an alarm and access control solution in place.
Bendigo Art Gallery, established in 1887, is one of the oldest and largest regional galleries in Australia. The gallery’s collection is extensive, with an emphasis on 19th century European art and Australian art from the 1800’s, alongside a strong collection of contemporary Australian art. The collection includes painting, sculpture, ceramics, decorative arts, photography and works on paper.
