Poweredge server, the latest marine complaint 1U server from Dell is a compact, ruggedized server offering up to 36×86 cores, support for accelerators, DDR4, PCIe4.0, persistent memory and up to 4 drives.

“The server is certified rugged for telco and defence applications, demonstrating it is powerful and capable enough for many surveillance and electronic security applications’ said national product manager, BGW Technologies, Mark Shannon.

“We also have the Dell Precision 3460 Workstation on display – this unit has been getting a lot of attention for its AI-based optimisation software that learns and responds to the way you work.

“While this unit is compact, versatile and will keep your desktop space usage to a minimum, it is powerful enough to deliver video surveillance performance in most situations, which is what’s important,” Shannon said.

“We have Poweredge Server and the Precision workstations operating live at SecTech, so make sure you stop by the BGWT stand and let us give you a demo.”
