Bosch IVA Pro application-specific AI – Bosch IP cameras now include Intelligent Video Analytics Pro (IVA Pro) – an AI-driven video solution that uses highly accurate data to analyse video footage in real-time to detect potential threats, enhancing the overall security of facilities in commercial and industrial environments.
According to Bosch, this solution is easy to use, future proof, and integrates seamlessly with various video management systems. IVA Pro is available in 3 different packs; Building, Perimeter, and Traffic, each designed to meet the unique security needs of different environments.
The IVA Pro Building Pack, based on deep learning, is ideal for advanced intrusion detection in and around buildings, featuring object detection, loitering detection, and people counting. It also automatically detects persons and vehicles while ignoring false triggers, like unwanted sources of motion, such as rain, snow, blowing leaves, lighting changes, or a shaking camera.
The IVA Pro Perimeter Pack is designed for long-distance intrusion detection alongside perimeters of buildings, energy facilities, and airports, even in extreme weather. It is highly sensitive to directed motion and can detect professional intruders who roll, crawl, or camouflage themselves to breach fencing, entryways, or runways under various environmental and lighting conditions while minimising false triggers.
The IVA Pro Traffic Pack, based on deep neural networks, achieves accuracy levels beyond 95 per cent in vehicle counting, supporting strategies that enhance mobility, safety, and the efficient use of roadways. It also offers reliable detection and subclassification of vehicles such as cars, bicycles, buses, motorcycles, and trucks.
