Bosch Profactor Hammer Drill
♦ Bosch Profactor hammer drill – Bosch’s GSB18V-1330C Bosch Profactor hammer drill is a serious piece of kit designed to security integrators who work away from AC power but need to drive to get brackets and conduits into concrete surfaces in carparks, exteriors and back of house.
The Profactor GSB18V-1330C is specifically designed to push large, clean and straight into concrete and masonry and the company claims its 18V Biturbo brushless motor – which sounds like a bit of reach from the marketing department – offers superior performance than AC hammer drills.
The motor offers 1330 inch-pounds of maximum torque via a pair of speed settings – high-speed and high-torque. The high-speed setting gets the bit to 2200rpm, while the high torque setting chugs along at 550rpm but elevates power to the bit. To ensure power is perfect for the task, there are 25 clutch settings.
Additional features of the Profactor include kickback control to reduce the danger of rotational binding, connectivity to mobile devices with the Bosch Toolbox App to customize settings, LED light with tool status feedback, long belt clip for a more secure hold, durable, all-metal chuck, electronic angle detection and rapid mode selector to switch from hammer mode to drilling/driving mode.
