BST Australia has been engaged to install an Integriti and Salto access control solution for the Festival Square Project Stage 1 carpark in Adelaide.
Inspired by famous international city squares, such as Plaça Catalunya in Barcelona and Leicester Square in London, Festival Square will work as a connection between the city’s most visited public facilities to create a dynamic entertainment centre linking the Adelaide Oval, railway station, Casino, Festival Centre, convention centre and riverside areas.
The $1 billion project is designed to revive the heart of Adelaide city with a mixed-use commercial and retail development featuring a 5000sqm city square, commercial tower with 40,000sqm of premium office space behind old Parliament house, and a 2-storey precinct featuring cafes, restaurants and luxury retail outlets. This will include the introduction of a new car park to accommodate 1500 car spaces.
Established in 2008 BST Australia was Siemens first solution partner for security systems in Australia and its client base includes Adelaide University, Flinders University, and TAFE, as well as OneSteel, Bemax Mining, Siemens Ltd and government departments, such as DPTI, CSIRO and the Forensic Science Centre.
