Cairns Regional Council Seeks CCTV Monitoring And Patrol Services.
Cairns Regional Council Seeks CCTV Monitoring – Cairns Regional Council has gone to tender seeking CCTV and security services.
The contract is divided into 5 parts, allowing respondents to tender individually or collectively. The first portion covers CBD mobile patrols and CCTV monitoring. The second focuses on asset patrols and facility lockups.
Portion 3 includes alarm monitoring and response services. Library security at 3 separate sites forms the 4th portion. Finally, the 5th portion requires event-based and on-demand security services through a register of prequalified suppliers.
Interested parties must direct all enquiries through an online forum provided by the council. This forum closes 5 days before the tender’s deadline. Verbal enquiries will not receive responses, emphasizing the council’s requirement for transparency and consistency in communication.
Council explicitly notes that the lowest-priced or any tender may not necessarily be accepted and retains the right to modify the tender specifications at any point before a final decision is made. Should such a change occur, respondents may be invited to adjust their submissions accordingly. Finally, tenders must remain valid for 120 days following the closing date.
