Castlemaine Health has gone to tender with a project to upgrade its access control solution with integrated automation across multiple sub-systems.
The organisation seeks automated emergency lock down and secure after-hours access to all entrances providing access to Urgent Care, Acute, overnight accommodation on Rehab, mechanical equipment and access to the KeyTel Communications system in the engineering department. This includes data logging and historical information of access to the hospital, for analysis and reference when required.
There is an existing Gallagher swipe card system that was installed to provide secure access to drug rooms throughout the hospital and aged care buildings. This system is to remain fully operational while the new extension of the Gallagher system is installed.
Castlemaine Health delivers a diverse range of inpatient, outpatient and outreach services to the Shire of Mount Alexander. This also includes provision of assessment, rehabilitation and allied health services to neighbouring shires. With around 660 employees, we provide an extensive range of health services to the community of Castlemaine and the surrounding region. With a clear regional focus, the Health Service’s role within the Loddon Mallee Region has developed to meet the needs of a growing population.
The tender closes on June 9, 2017. ♦
