CHeKT CKB416v1 16-Channel Video Alarm Monitoring – CHeKT’s CKB416v1 is a 16-channel video control panel designed to integrate video surveillance systems with central alarm monitoring infrastructure.

By converting camera-based analytics into discrete alarm events, the unit allows real-time visual monitoring and automated alarm reporting, enhancing both situational awareness and response capability in security operations.

Each of the panel’s 16 video inputs can be configured as a video alarm zone. The system supports ONVIF-compatible camera analytics and AI server systems, with the ability to detect and report events such as person or vehicle presence. Alarms are communicated to monitoring centres using standard Contact ID protocols. The panel supports cloud video storage options of 30, 90, or 365 days, depending on requirements.

The CKB416v1 is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af) or a 5V DC input. It includes dual LAN ports to enable deployment on segmented networks for enhanced security and isolation of video traffic. There’s a key switch input that allows the panel to be armed or disarmed via traditional alarm panels, and a 100mA controllable relay output for local actuation.

Audio functionality is delivered via both IP and analog outputs. The device supports remote talk-down applications and mass notification systems using connected speakers. These audio outputs are integrated into the system’s mobile interface, giving users real-time control over deterrence actions.

A mobile application provides remote access to arming functions, live video streams, audio broadcasting, relay control, and alerts. This end-user control interface extends functionality beyond fixed monitoring centres and supports user-driven situational oversight.

Physically, the CKB416v1 is housed in a polycarbonate and aluminium enclosure measuring 101 mm x 73 mm x 51.5 mm and weighing 382g – it’s very compact. The unit operates in temperatures ranging from 0C to 50C and tolerates up to 95 per cent relative humidity. The device is positioned to extend security perimeters beyond building footprints, offering coverage for exterior assets and infrastructure.

The CHeKT CKB416v1 is suited for applications requiring real-time visual verification, remote interaction, and reliable integration with alarm monitoring centres. It enables traditional and AI-enhanced cameras to become proactive security tools capable of triggering automated alarm workflows based on defined analytics events.
