Chubb Fire & Security Wins Big Monitoring Contract – Chubb Fire & Security has been awarded a Northern Territory Government contract to provide emergency and after-hours answering services and security alarm monitoring for NT Government assets over a 36-month period.

The contract was issued by the Department of Logistics and Infrastructure and has a total value of $417,704. Under the agreement, Chubb will deliver 24/7 security alarm monitoring from an ASIAL A1 graded Security Monitoring Centre. The scope includes continuous monitoring of electronic security systems across NT Government sites, receiving and managing alarms, faults and incident notifications, and handling calls from departmental staff and the public relating to asset issues.

Chubb is also responsible for logging, reporting and actioning alarm activations and system status changes, and for providing operational reporting on call-outs and incidents as required by the Territory.

Nationally, Chubb operates a network of certified monitoring centres supporting government, commercial and critical infrastructure customers across Australia. Its monitoring services integrate intrusion alarms, duress systems, fire interfaces and building systems, providing centralised response coordination, escalation to emergency services and detailed audit trails for compliance and operational oversight.

The NT contract reinforces Chubb’s position as a long-standing provider of large-scale, government-grade monitoring services, particularly in geographically dispersed and operationally demanding environments such as the Northern Territory.
