City Of Melton Seeks Security Services For More Than 200 Council Buildings.
City Of Melton Seeks Security Services – City of Melton has released a tender seeking a contractor for the provision of security services across more than 200 council buildings – but note first up that there’s a compulsory online briefing at 4pm February 27.
Council’s estate includes civic administration buildings, libraries, recreation centres, neighbourhood houses, depots, parks infrastructure and a network of public amenities distributed across established and high growth suburbs.
The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering security services across this diverse asset base, requiring coverage that supports both operational facilities and publicly accessible sites. With such a wide footprint, the contract is expected to encompass patrols, alarm response, monitoring and site-specific security systems support aligned to risk and usage profiles.
Given the some of the sites are large, this may include maintenance of a range of security systems, including access control, locking, alarms and CCTV, though the tender release does not expressly note this.
Note that mandatory online tender briefing on February 27 – tenderers must register for this by 2pm on February 17 to receive an invitation to attend.
