Cleveland Youth Detention Needs VMS SMS Upgrade.

Cleveland Youth Detention Needs VMS SMS – Cleveland Youth Detention is seeking an SMS and VMS upgrade to enhance its electronic security solutions.

The scope of works includes supply and installation of a security management system and a video management system to the facility, which is located at Townsville in Queensland.

Cleveland Youth Detention Centre (CYDC) has a bed capacity of 112 and a catchment of Rockhampton and north, and out to the Northern Territory border.

A majority of young people at CYDC are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and there’s a school with an implemented curriculum and practices that work with Aboriginal English to help young people learn Standard Australian English. CYDC also has regular Elders visits to keep young people connected to culture.
