CMAK Technology Secures City of Canning CCTV Contract – City of Canning has awarded the tender for its major CCTV system services contract to CMAK Technology.
The agreement covers installation, upgrades and maintenance of the city’s surveillance infrastructure over an initial 2-year term, with an option for a further year.
The scope includes health monitoring, firmware updates, system design, network testing and condition inspections for more than 400 fixed cameras and a fleet of mobile surveillance assets deployed across the city. Canning currently operates a hybrid video management environment comprising Genetec Security Centre, Wisenet Wave and Hikvision NVR platforms, with plans to migrate the full camera network to Genetec and Wisenet Wave.

The contract requires full lifecycle service and support for existing and future equipment, including mounting infrastructure, power systems, wireless transmitters and associated cabling. The city will retain administrative control over all systems.
CMAK Technology is an Australian security systems integrator with experience in video surveillance, access control and network infrastructure. The company works across local government, transport, health, and critical infrastructure sectors, supporting both fixed and mobile CCTV environments.
