0

KEY members of City of Gold Coast Lord Mayor’s Office, CEO's Office and Security team have been presented with attendance certificates after sitting vital courses in the leadup to the Commonwealth Games in 2018.

Presentations were made following the delivery of another Human Behaviour Detection and Critical Incident Awareness Training Workshop (Preparing for and Responding to Incidents in the Workplace).

The courses are being held in the lead up to 2018 Commonwealth Games, in partnership with John Matus’ bTAQ, a training organisation which provides knowledge and skills to staff through different types of human behaviour training.

bTAQ courses range from security awareness through to detecting and resolving threats from terrorism and other criminal activities.

The Commonwealth Games, which are attended by athletes from the 52 member nations of the Commonwealth, formerly the British Commonwealth, will run on the Gold Coast in Queensland from April 4-15 in 2018, with 275 events across 18 sports. ♦
