Connect Surveillance and Security SecTech NZ Highlights – Connect Surveillance and Security is bringing a strong line-up of security technologies to SecTech NZ Roadshow in June, with new solutions from Ajax, Bosch, IDIS, Hikvision and TVT.
With a focus on intrusion detection, video analytics and integrated platforms, Connect’s stand will provide live demos and hands-on insights for integrators and end users looking to evaluate next-gen systems.
A key highlight is the IDIS Retail Analytics Dashboard, a powerful business intelligence tool designed to improve operational visibility in commercial environments. The dashboard provides real-time insights into customer flow and behaviour without licensing fees, delivering data-driven decision support through IDIS’s Centre VMS platform. The system is engineered for speed, ease of use and seamless integration into retail surveillance environments.
Also on show is the new Ajax Doorbell, a compact unit that combines smart intercom functionality with surveillance features. It supports 2-way communication and features a PIR sensor for real-time alerts. AI-powered detection identifies people, vehicles and animals, while a wide-angle HDR camera maintains image clarity in variable lighting conditions.
Connect Surveillance and Security will also be showcasing powerful Bosch’s Solution 4000 panel, the successor to the Solution 3000. The Solution 4000 supports 32 zones (wired or wireless), up to 4 doors of access control and 2 partitions. With expansion modules including B228 and RADION receivers, the platform provides solid flexibility for commercial and residential applications.
Hikvision’s TandemVu PTZ range will also be demonstrated. TandemVu cameras incorporate fixed and PTZ lenses within a single housing, allowing simultaneous wide and close-up views. The fixed lens maintains overall situational awareness while the PTZ handles detail capture, supporting more comprehensive scene coverage.
TVT’s E3B Series IP Cameras, exclusively distributed by Connect in New Zealand, incorporate advanced video metadata capabilities. The platform supports simultaneous analysis of 13 human characteristics, 5 vehicle attributes and 1 non-motorised transport identifier. This metadata is designed to enhance post-event search and streamline incident investigations.
Bosch Surveillance will also present IVA Pro, a modular suite of AI-driven analytics. Available in Bosch Traffic, Perimeter and Buildings variants, IVA Pro delivers detection, tracking and forensic capabilities across multiple use cases. Features include forensic search, seamless VMS integration, and support for predictive event handling.
Connect’s presence at SecTech NZ reflects the company’s commitment to delivering intelligent security solutions through leading brands. Attendees are encouraged to visit the stand for product demonstrations, technical walkthroughs and promotional giveaways.
