Contact Electrical Wins Tasmanian Security Maintenance Contract

Contact Electrical has been awarded a contract to undertake preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance for Tasmania’s Department of State Growth supporting all department-owned and leased fire, electrical and security system assets.

The Department of State Growth was created by merging 4 interrelated divisions and developing a strategic approach that drives economic growth, and supports the community, industry and business in the creation of jobs and opportunities for Tasmanians.

It’s a large department that operates across industries and services that include investment attraction, transport, infrastructure, cultural industry and tourism supply development, trade, international relations, innovation, energy, resources and region and sector development.

Contact Electrical business was founded in Launceston, in 1986 and has now expanded to include offices in Hobart and Burnie, as well as a head office in Launceston. The company’s operations include industrial, commercial and domestic applications of all kinds, from lighting and air conditioning to automation, fire and security.

The terms of the contract were not disclosed.
