SAFR from RealNetworks has announced a partnership with Convergint Technologies that will see Convergint add the SAFR computer vision platform to its portfolio of integrated security solutions.

SAFR is a compact facial recognition solution with the ability to be deployed on the edge and within cameras. SAFR has an ethical focus to assist compliance with GDPR, while SAFR’s computer vision SDK and web APIs make it easy to undertake integrations. Key features include the fact customers own their database and can manage opt-in/opt-out enrolment with a simple, but robust interface.

“We chose to partner with SAFR for many reasons, key among them is the trusted performance of their FR algorithm,” said Amir Shechter of Convergint Technologies.

“We look forward to working together with their team on innovation solutions that enable us to be our customers’ best service provider.”
