CPB Completes Capricornia Correctional Project
♦ CPB Contractors’ Rockhampton-based team has delivered the finishing touches on its Capricornia Correctional Centre project, which included an electronic security upgrade.
Capricornia Correctional Centre is the third prison project completed by CPB Contractors in Australia and New Zealand over the past 2 years.
The Capricornia Correctional Centre project called for 160 new residential cells, 100 secure cell bunks, a new residential officers’ station and a site-wide security upgrade.
“The project achieved a number of goals along the way with a primary focus on supporting the local community, local industry and local workforce,” said CPB Contractors project manager, Mark Bombardieri.
“We very proud of the work delivered at Capricornia Correctional Centre, especially given the complexities of working in a live correctional centre with the additional impact of COVID.”
