Crown Completes Uniview AI CCTV and Integrated Boom Gate Upgrade – Crown Security has completed a multi-system electronic security upgrade for a large church in Burswood, in Perth, Western Australia.
The project included deployment of Uniview AI-enabled surveillance, integration of video verification with a Permaconn PM54 4G LTE communicator supporting a Tecom Challenger 10 access control and alarm system, and installation of automatic boom gates using number plate recognition via Dahua LPR cameras.
According to Crown Security general manager, Saverio Galanti, the client required improved security outcomes while reducing the need for physical guard presence due to the site’s extended operating hours and community outreach.
“Our team at Crown Security finalised the installation of this large Uniview system, with the latest AI functions,” Galanti said. “We took over the site’s existing Tecom system from Aritech and integrated a Permaconn PM54 4G LTE for video verification back to our friends at Allcare Monitoring Services.
“This application was for a large church in Burswood that needed to reduce guard attendances. Because they’re open late and help with homelessness, they often close late and start early. In addition, they have people who may try and break in, so they wanted to get faster police response with that Permaconn video service.”
The project also involved advanced integration between LPR systems and vehicle access control, allowing authorised vehicles to trigger boom gate entry without manual intervention.
“In addition, we carried out a high-level integration between Dahua LPRs and the boom gates we installed with our contracting partners ABA Automatic Gates – Perth WA,” Galanti said.
“We love what we do and will always ensure the end user has the ultimate service and bespoke solutions. We couldn’t have done this without the support of Seadan Security Balcatta.”
