Crown Security Delivers Smart Surveillance – Crown Security has completed a multi-storey smart surveillance installation using Hikvision cameras integrated with Parquery’s smart parking software, delivering full video coverage of vehicle movements through stacker parking bays.
The project, supported by Hikvision Australia and New Zealand and supplied through VSP Security Wholesale, required a tailored video solution to ensure cars entering and exiting the stacker bays were fully visible and recorded for liability management and operational oversight.
“We’ve done an installation of Hikvision cameras integrated with our Parquery software for Smart Parking Solutions,” said Crown Security general manager Saverio Galanti.
“These are stacker parking bays on a multi-storey building, and they needed to make sure it’s clear that the cars go in with no damage and come out with no damage. That’s why the Hikvision 6MP panoramic cameras were the best solution to cover both entries.”
To meet the site’s operational requirements, the solution combines Hikvision 6MP panoramic cameras with 110-degree and 180-degree coverage, delivering wide-angle visibility of each entry point. The 6MP fisheye units offer high-resolution image capture with onboard analytics and dewarping, while Parquery’s smart parking platform provides object detection and visual confirmation through integrated AI.
Galanti said the Crown Security team achieved a clean finish on the installation, with sufficient resources dedicated to achieving optimal client outcomes.
“The integration ensures real-time monitoring, evidence-grade footage, and smart detection of vehicle movements within a confined vertical environment – we’re very pleased with the outcome and so is our customer,” Galanti said.
