Dahua Partners With Permaconn For AirShield Alarm Connectivity Across ANZ.
Dahua Partners With Permaconn For AirShield – Dahua Technology has partnered with Permaconn to integrate Permaconn’s alarm signalling network into the Dahua AirShield wireless alarm platform, delivering a pre-configured connectivity solution for installers and monitoring centres across Australia and New Zealand.
Under the agreement, Permaconn has been selected as the connectivity partner for AirShield hubs, with Permaconn SecureLink SIMs now supplied in the box and pre-configured to the Permaconn network. The rollout is underway through select distributors.
For installers, the integration removes the need for separate signalling hardware, third-party SIM sourcing and manual APN configuration. SIMs are inserted and activated on site, reducing commissioning time and eliminating compatibility issues between alarm panels, networks and monitoring centre infrastructure.
The combined solution links Dahua’s AirShield intrusion platform with Permaconn’s cloud-based alarm communications network, allowing alarm and video events to be transmitted to any monitoring centre operating a Permaconn receiver without additional infrastructure.
AirShield is a wireless intrusion platform built on Dahua’s Airfly RF protocol, supporting two-way communication with field devices, OTA updates and battery-powered peripherals. The system is managed via Dahua cloud services and integrates with Dahua CCTV and intercom systems, enabling alarm, video and communication events to be handled within a single environment.
Each AirShield hub now ships with a SIM kit containing 2 SecureLink SIMs. Installers can deploy single or dual SIM configurations depending on redundancy requirements, with device and SIM management handled through the Permaconn Atlas platform.
From a network perspective, the solution sits within Permaconn’s ISO 27001-certified signalling environment, supported by a 99.99 per cent uptime SLA and 24/7 Australian-based technical support.
Dahua Partners With Permaconn For AirShield
Dahua Australia president Truman Zhang said the partnership was focused on simplifying deployment while maintaining reliability.
“At Dahua, our focus is not only on developing innovative security technology, but also on making it easier for installers to deliver reliable solutions to their customers,” Zhang said.
“Permaconn was the clear choice for AirShield because of its strong reputation, trusted network and deep understanding of the alarm industry. By bringing together AirShield and Permaconn’s connectivity expertise, we’re offering a solution that gives installers greater confidence from deployment through to ongoing operation, while helping end users stay protected when it matters most.”
Meanwhile, Permaconn group chief executive officer, Andrew Pears, said the integration extended Permaconn’s signalling approach into a wider range of alarm platforms.
“As alarm connectivity options across the industry continue to diversify, including solutions like the Dahua AirShield, we’ve developed SecureLink SIM to bring the reliability and ease of use the industry already trusts in Permaconn alarm communicators to even more applications,” Pears said.
“We’re excited to partner with Dahua to supply SecureLink SIMs pre-packaged within AirShield boxes – a move that dramatically cuts installation times, simplifies administration and frees installers to focus on what matters most.”
Dahua AirShield hubs with Permaconn SecureLink SIMs are now being distributed through selected channels, with broader availability expected as the rollout expands.
