DAS Releasing OPTEX FlipX Detectors – DAS will soon release OPTEX’s new generation of accurate and flexible FlipX indoor PIR and dual technology detectors.
According to Stuart King, OPTEX product manager for DAS, thanks to their advanced detection logic and an innovative pyroelectric element for increased accuracy and performance, the FlipX series guarantee advanced intrusion detection for homes and businesses.
Comprising of Standard, Professional and Advanced models, each FlipX model is available in standard PIR or dual technology (PIR and microwave) options. King said the 3 models are ideal for different verticals yet deliver the same reliable detection solutions.
“The FlipX range has been designed with flexibility in mind, reducing the need for the installer to hold multiple models while delivering exceptional sensing performance for indoor intruder detection applications,” King said.
“The FlipX Standard model is ideal for securing residential or small commercial sites and provides superior pet tolerance and mitigates false alarms. The FlipX Professional model lives up to its name as commercial or professional sites can benefit from its increased detection area with additional features like customised detection via its 180-degree rotatable lens.
“The FlipX Advanced model features Grade 3 sensors designed for securing higher-risk sites including datacentres, logistics hubs and banking.”
