Gallagher has appointed David Thean general manager for Gallagher’s security business in Asia.
Since joining Gallagher in 2019 as regional manager for Southeast Asia, Thean has been involved in a number of key projects across the Southeast Asia region, gaining a deep understanding of Gallagher’s security solutions and Command Centre software.
“I’m very excited to be leading our talented team here in Asia,” Thean said. “The team has proven time and again to be incredibly and passionate about exceeding the expectations of our customers and partners, and I am looking forward to supporting team members as we continue to grow.”
Craig Schutte, Gallagher’s Vice President for Asia Pacific and IMEA, said he was delighted to see Thean take on the new challenge of the general manager role for Gallagher in Asia.
“Since joining us 2 years ago, David has quickly become a respected member of our team and has demonstrated a strong understanding of Gallagher’s security solutions and the value they provide our customers,” Schutte said. “I have no doubt he will continue to drive our future growth throughout Asia.”
Following Thean’s appointment, Dezmond Huang has taken on the newly combined role of operations manager for Asia and business development manager for Southeast Asia.
