In the IMS Research report entitled “The world market for
CCTV and surveillance equipment”, Dedicated Micros heads-up the DVR category
with an estimated worldwide market share of 6.9 per cent.
In terms of regions,
Dedicated Micros is particularly
strong in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), leading the way with a
dominant 14 per cent share – way ahead of its nearest rival on 5.3 per cent.
When it comes to all types of video surveillance
equipment, Dedicated Micros strength in depth as a CCTV solutions provider,
including CCTV cameras, has been confirmed, ranking highly in 3rd place with a
5.6 per cent market share.
