Department of Health Seeks Security – Tasmania’s Department of Health has gone to tender seeking security services for multiple hospitals.

Tenders are invited for ad hoc, 24-hour security services at the 4 major Tasmanian public hospitals – Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, North West Regional Hospital and the Mersey Community Hospital.

The scope of the tender includes responding to alarm call-outs and making routine patrols 7 days per week.

The successful tender will also provide security services to off-site and outlying buildings located in the South, North and North West regions, including the Wilfred Lopes Centre.

Tasmania’s Department of Health (DoH) is responsible for hospitals, ambulances and community health, while also supporting related areas such as primary healthcare. The department is the largest of Tasmanian Government agencies and has 16,000 employees and an annual budget of $A3 billion.

This Department of Health seeks security tender closes on March 5 – you can find out more here or read more SEN news here.
