Department of Home Affairs Seeks PSPF Assurance Capability – Australia’s Department of Home Affairs is seeking external support to assist with delivery of its Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) assurance capability.
The work forms part of the Department’s broader obligations under the Commonwealth Cyber Security Strategy and the Home Affairs Corporate Plan and includes physical security of entity network resources.
According to the tender, the successful vendor will work with the Commonwealth Security Policy Branch to develop an assurance capability to underpin the annual PSPF self-assessment reporting and engagement program. The scope includes the delivery of PSPF assurance documentation within agreed timeframes and under the Department’s governance and capability lifecycle requirements.
The Department is seeking a provider with established experience in cyber policy, process development, and the provision of strategy, policy and governance services to the Australian Government.
According to the tender, the engagement must support Home Affairs’ compliance with multiple PSPF policies, including Policy 6 (security governance for contracted service providers), Policy 10 (safeguarding data from cyber threats), Policy 11 (robust ICT systems), Policy 12 (personnel eligibility and suitability), Policy 14 (separation of personnel), and Policy 15 (physical security of entity resources).
