NSW Department of Justice has issued a tender for an upgrade of the electronic security solutions at John Morony Correctional Facility.
John Morony Correctional Complex is a maximum and minimum-security prison complex for males and females near Windsor in New South Wales, Australia. The complex is operated by Corrective Services NSW, an agency of the Department of Attorney General and Justice, of the Government of New South Wales. The centre was built in 2004.
The complex comprises 3 separate correctional facilities including the John Morony Correctional Centre (a 200-bed medium security correctional centre for men); the Outer Metropolitan Multi-Purpose Correctional Centre (a minimum security correctional centre for men); and Dillwynia Correctional Centre (a 200-bed medium security correctional centre for women).
The electronic security hardening at John Morony 1 Correctional Centre includes upgrading the CCTV cameras, mobile duress system, door locks, along with the control room and equipment room.
The tender closes on December 12, 2017.
