DERWENT Valley Council in Tasmania is seeking a video surveillance solution for multiple sites around New Norfolk.

Derwent Valley Council recently commissioned a security assessment and report of the security measures and associated infrastructure to investigate the adequacy of security measures with respect to the personal security of Derwent Valley Council staff members working at the administration building, the administration building reception and works depot, and security of the buildings and moveable property located at the administration building and works depot.

A number of recommendations have been tabled to improve security including the installation and commissioning of surveillance cameras. This RFP is for the supply and delivery of the works as detailed in the scope and specification document. A compulsory site briefing will be provided commencing 10am Wednesday October 3, 2018, at the Derwent Valley Council administration building, Circle Street, New Norfolk.

Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an area of 4111 square kilometres. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the municipality is New Norfolk, where the planned contract works are situated.

The tender ends October 25.
