Dicker DAS Inaugural Regatta Raced Out Of The Balmain Sailing Club Last Week.

Dicker DAS Inaugural Regatta – Dicker DAS’ inaugural regatta was held last week out of the Balmain Sailing Club in perfect weather.

Race sponsors included DAS suppliers Hikvision, HID, AJAX, AXIS, Aritech and SEN, with 6 boats battling it out over a tight course that circumnavigated Goat and Cockatoo Islands.

In light winds, the 6 yachts and their crews enjoyed some tight racing, with Hikvision coming away victorious after a final upwind tack.

The event was well organised by the Dicker DAS team and beautifully catered by the Balmain Sailing Club, with plenty of chat among boat crews about club membership after the race.

Dicker DAS’ general manager Chris Price thanked sponsors and attendees, including many installers and integrators, who responded to Price’s question “should we do this again” with hearty cheers.
