DSC PowerSeries Pro Scalable Commercial Intrusion Detection Platform Available Now From BGW Technologies.
DSC PowerSeries Pro Scalable Commercial Intrusion – DSC’s PowerSeries Pro intrusion platform is designed for commercial and industrial environments, supporting up to 248 zones (including 128 PowerG wireless zones) and 32 partitions.
It uses PowerG wireless technology with 128-bit AES encryption for secure two-way communication, with long-range performance and no need for sensor or keypad cabling.
According to Stanley El Komala, senior product manager intrusion at BGW Technologies, the PowerSeries Pro isn’t just another control panel.

The system features programmable zone resistance to assist with system takeovers and includes triple-end-of-line PowerG anti-masking. An onboard 2A auxiliary output allows direct connection of peripheral devices.
Supported resistance configurations include single EOL – Alarm 0.5–28kΩ; double EOL; Alarm – 0.5–15kΩ, Tamper: 0.5–15kΩ and triple EOL; Alarm: 0.5–7.5kΩ, Tamper: 0.5–7.5kΩ and Mask/Fault: 0.5–15kΩ.
El Komala highlighted the system’s support for mobile apps for both installers and users.

The platform is compatible with Alarm.com for cloud-based integration and supports third-party systems including building management, video surveillance and access control. Connectivity includes Ethernet, PSTN and modular communicators.
