Entrance Control EasyGate LC Secures 205 North Quay – Brisbane’s newest prestige office tower, 205 North Quay, has had 9 lanes of custom EasyGate LC speedstiles installed to deliver sophisticated access control while complementing the building’s iconic design.
The $A600 million, 38-storey architectural marvel, featuring a cathedral-like ground-floor public plaza and triple-height terraces, is safeguarded by 3 banks of 3 lanes of speedstiles strategically positioned at each lift lobby on its mezzanine level. Security is paramount, given the building will house the entire Services Australia team.
Entrance Control general manager Michael Bystram said the installation required custom engineering to meet the building’s spatial constraints while maintaining optimal security for its 50,000 square metres of premium office space.
“The 205 North Quay project presented an interesting design challenge with its narrow reception areas,” Bystram said. “Our team developed super sleek 1000mm pedestals instead of our standard 1200mm design, offering slimline security without compromise.”
