Free ANPR From CS Technologies – According to CS Technologies customers wanting ANPR have needed to purchase and install an independent ANPR System and camera/s, as well as an access control system.
“Now Australian-made access control brand, CS Technologies, is offering an ANPR add-on solution for free, saving installers and their customers time and money,” says Michael Carruthers, head of engineering at CS Technologies.
“The installer purchases a Milesight LPR camera then links the LPR camera to a CS Technologies’ Evolution access control system. From there, authorised user vehicles can be granted access to the facility with no independent ANPR System is required.”
The way it works is that CS Technologies’ free Evolution management software has a free built-in, high-level interface that connects directly to Milesight LPR cameras. When a number plate is read, Evolution software will process the plate, check the user database, check the user’s access group and grant/deny the user.
“CS Technologies Evolution Controllers are proven commercial solution access systems that grant access to the facility with a pin number, card or RF remote,” Carruthers says.
“Existing users can now additionally be assigned a car number plate to complement the standard access system. CS Technologies Evolution already has free integrations with most popular caravan park programs to further simplify the setup.”
CS Technologies’ free Evolution management software includes all features and is installed as a Windows-based EXE that can be run from a drive, USB, cloud drive, or virtual server. Featuring an easy setup, Evolution can generate automatic email reports and alarms, deny pass-backs, generate history reports, and create interactive floor plans. Evolution also allows integrations with high level CCTV and other third-party systems.
“While Evolution controllers don’t provide a commercial car park payment solution, their capabilities make them terrific for many other purposes such as caravan parks and other facilities with non-paid entry,” Carruthers says.
