AGFMA Reform Project Team has requested registrations from suppliers interested in providing security or access control system installation or maintenance to the shortlisted facilities management service providers.
The South Australian Government is proposing to undertake a tender process for the future Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA), which includes the provision of an outsourced service delivery model. This model is set to commence from late 2021.
It is intended that fundamentals of the current AGFMA will continue in the future arrangements, in particular that:
* The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) will remain as the central policy and contract management agency
* The facilities management service providers will primarily be works coordinators; and
facilities management services provision and project work will be largely undertaken by appropriately qualified sub-contractors with a strong focus on local workforce and opportunity for South Australian small and medium enterprises (SME)
* Successful facilities management service providers will be required to comply with the principles of the South Australian Industry Participation Policy, including the continual engagement of local service providers/SMEs/sub-contractors.
South Australian businesses interested in sub-contracting with potential facilities management service providers are invited to register their interest below. DPTI intends to make the details of all businesses that register their interest available to the shortlisted facilities management service providers.
This process will create a connection with facilities management service providers and inform them of the services that local service providers/SMEs/sub-contractors can provide. Facilities management service provider/s will be able to make direct contact with the service providers/SMEs/sub-contractors to assist in their submission or if they wish to engage their services.
This tender closes on October 30, 2020 – you can find out more here.
