Gallagher Maintenance For Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
Gallagher Maintenance For Department of Families – Victoria’s Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) will release a tender in early October seeking contractors to undertake programmed and responsive maintenance of Gallagher electronic access control systems installed in plant rooms across public housing sites in metropolitan Melbourne.
The tender covers maintenance of Gallagher hardware and software used to secure access to essential infrastructure areas within public housing buildings. The program includes both scheduled servicing and reactive repairs to ensure continued secure operation of access systems over the 2025–2027 period.
Gallagher EACS solutions are widely deployed in high-security applications and often include card readers, controllers, software integration, and secure enclosures. In public housing the systems are typically used to restrict and monitor entry to plant rooms, utility spaces, and other sensitive service areas.
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing is responsible for a wide portfolio of human services programs, including child protection, housing, family violence prevention, LGBTIQA+ equality, veterans’ support, and services for women and youth.
Management of physical security in public housing sites supports DFFH’s responsibility to provide safe and secure living environments for tenants and maintenance workers.
The Gallagher Maintenance For Department of Families tender is expected to be released October 2, 2025 – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
