Gallagher Security Expands Presence in Asia

THE security business unit of Gallagher Group is an established market leader of proven core security, access control and perimeter security systems with a global distribution network. “Gallagher Security has observed rapid growth in the Asia market since introducing Cardax Access Control and PowerFence solutions to a wide range of end users,” general manager Curtis Edgecombe explains. “As a result, we have decided to strengthen our position with the appointment of a senior executive to be based in the region.” “Previously based out of New Zealand, Regional Manager, Peter Francis will relocate to Hong Kong and will be responsible for managing and supporting Gallagher Security’s existing business in China and North Asia and for setting up and developing new business relationships with customers and channel partners.”“Gallagher Security’s traction in the Asian market has been strengthened by its proactive Channel Partner network and this decision will reinforce our commitment as we focus strongly on opportunities identified in China, north Asia and India.” Gallagher Security’s position in the security domain has been consolidated by recent projects including Government Departments and the installation of India’s first non-electrified perimeter security at Tata Motors’ new manufacturing plant.Francis will be supported by Business Development Manager, Kelvin Yip who will also relocate to the region from his current base in Singapore. Kelvin will focus on development and technical support for the fast growing region of North Asia.Michael Collins, has been appointed to role of Sales Manager, NZ & Pacific. He joins Gallagher from his previous role and NZ General Manager, GE Security.
