Gold Corporation Seeks Security Services – Gold Corporation is seeking a contractor to supply qualified security officers for guarding services and critical mobilisation support across its Perth Mint and Perth Refinery sites.

The work is ad hoc and tied to events or project needs, with officers expected to operate in public-facing and secure environments. In addition to static and patrol duties, security personnel may also be responsible for operating or monitoring security systems, including CCTV and access control, in support of site operations.

Gold Corporation operates and oversees The Perth Mint in East Perth and a separate precinct-based refinery near Perth Airport. The East Perth site features heritage buildings dating back to 1899 and houses the mint’s retail shop, public exhibition, visitor tours, and the historic gold pour in its original melting house. It also includes supporting office space and security operations.

The refinery near Perth Airport processes more than 231.8 tonnes of gold and 324.6 tonnes of silver annually, accounting for roughly 75 per cent of newly mined gold in Australia. The refinery is accredited by LBMA and other major global exchanges, and features advanced assay laboratories, automated casting, granulation systems, and secure vault storage.

Gold Corporation employs over 700 people across its combined operations and is owned by the Western Australian Government under the Gold Corporation Act 1987. Tenderers should note that this is a 1-year contract with 2 x 1-year extension options at Gold Corporation’s discretion.
