Dallmeier PlanD Delivers 3D Video Planning Support – Dallmeier’s PlanD is a 3D video surveillance planning tool designed to support consultants, integrators and end users building professional camera layouts. The solution allows rapid camera positioning in virtual spaces and automatically estimates storage and budget requirements.
PlanD includes drag-and-drop design with real-time visualisation of resolution coverage, blind spots and lighting. The software works with Dallmeier’s Panomera and Domera camera systems, as well as third-party hardware, and includes 3D camera simulation and precise partial shading display.
Panomera camera systems use a multifocal sensor design to deliver high-resolution imaging over large areas, allowing wide coverage without compromising image detail. Domera cameras offer modular, adaptable video surveillance solutions suited to a range of fixed applications.
PlanD includes light object modelling, CamCard export, and real-time budget and storage calculations. A share function is built in, supporting collaboration between project stakeholders, while hosting options include secure cloud access or local desktop use.
Partner access includes additional tools, including unbranded exports, expanded PDF output options, and Dallmeier 3D project support. PlanD also allows configuration of custom cameras, illuminators and accessories for tailored system builds.
