PHIL Marriot of Sydney-based installation company Guardian Gecko is on the hunt for externally-rated solar powered Wi-Fi bullet cameras.

Guardian Gecko has multiple clients in South Australia requiring solar power cameras supported by 4G router/modems for remote sites, but it’s been difficult to nail down a supplier offering local support and the required specification.

“Probably the closest product to the mark is the Meisort SC310 1080p camera, which has an IP67 rating, a 3.6mm fixed focal length, as well as IR support but for our application the Wi-Fi performance has not been consistently strong enough to convince me,” Marriot said.

“I’m hoping to find a local supplier of a quality product – anyone who thinks they have a solution that fits the bill, please email me on phillip@guardiangecko.com.au”
