Harcor SCEC Cabinet With Embedded Key Management System Coming To SAGE November 20!

Harcor SCEC Cabinet With Embedded Key Management System – Harcor has released a SCEC-approved cabinet incorporating an embedded key management system, offering a new option for high-security environments requiring certified enclosures with integrated access control.

The solution combines Harcor’s robust welded cabinet designs with the company’s advanced iKLAS key management platform. Until now, key management systems requiring SCEC-level protection had to be deployed in separate certified enclosures or omitted due to certification complexity. This cabinet resolves the issue by embedding the system in a compliant enclosure, streamlining deployment while maintaining full certification.

The new cabinet is suited to organisations needing physical security for network terminations or other high-security infrastructure. It provides tamper-evident protection, structured access control and secure key issuance in a unified form factor. Cabinets can be supplied with Class B or Class C certification, using either KABA combination locking for Class B or the certified BiLock system for Class C.

Key capacities range from 24 to 252 slots. Cabinets are custom-configured to suit operational requirements and include structured key procedures supported by a formal register for compliance with Class C protocols.

According to Harcor, the system is designed for installations such as secure server rooms, where high physical security is required but additional approvals for the internal technology are not feasible or necessary.
